Filmmakers Connection Meeting, Extras Needed, Living with the Dead Movie, Book Release

Hello everyone,

An update on coming events:

Tonight (Tuesday, September 3 - 5:00 pm) - Donna Sirianni (Moving Forward Seminars) and I will be on Janet Russell Presents. Please tune in to this radio program - should be fun!

Also:

For those of you waiting for Karmic Wind (the third book in my Karmic Wind Trilogy), it's finally out and available at http://www.debramarkowitz.com/Writings.html along with Naked in the Rain and Sarah and Caleb. I hope you enjoy it!

Also, I'm in production on a SAG Low-Budget Indie film, Living with the Dead, please take a look at the Kickstarter video - http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/livingwiththedead/living-with-the-dead-feature-film  We have 14 days to raise $7,000, though I hope we raise $17,000 more.  We're shooting the film regardless, but if you can help with any amount at all from $1, $5, $10, $15 to $3,500 and beyond - we're open to it all and will be extremely grateful. If you don't choose to donate, but would like to spread the word, that would be amazing as well.  I really believe in this movie and the director and the very talented actors.  It's a tale of a teenage girl surviving the suicide of her boyfriend.  After waking up in the hospital from a near-lethal overdose herself, she decides to take an adventure with her late boyfriend's books (The Tragedies of Shakespeare, The Bell Jar, etc) to try to figure out why he did it.  It's a beautiful script from such a talented writer.  I feel privileged to be casting and producing this wonderful film.

Also - we need about six extras for a party scene in Yonkers for one day in this film (ages 40s, 50s, 60s).  Unfortunately, nonpaying, but some very cool people will be on the set that day. If interested, please send a recent headshot or candid shot to castingkarma212@gmail.com.  Date tentatively set for Weds, Sept 18, 2013.

AND

We have a Filmmakers Connection Meeting set!! Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in Five Towns College.  Speaker to be announced, but save the date!!

Thank you.

Best,

Debbie
