Hello All,
I'm hoping you can spread the word about the Long Island International Film Expo (LIIFE) to your e-mail lists/sites/etc.

The 14th annual Long Island International Film Expo will screen 116 short and feature-length independent films from around the world. This important festival will take place from July 7 - 14, 2011. We will begin with a festival warm-up on Thursday, July 7, and our official opening night movie block begins at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 8 with the award winning feature film, As If I Am Not There. This is a film not to be missed. http://liifilmexpo.org/sections/films11/0006_As_If_I_Am_Not_There.html

LIIFE features film blocks of all types, free panels on scriptwritng (with two award winning writers) and film distribution. There's also a wine and cheese reception, an entertaining and informative filmmakers breakfast panel and our star-studded closing night party on Thursday, July 14 at the Bellmore Movies.

This is not a festival that costs millions to run, but brings in great independent films to a sophisticated movie going audience, brings the distributors to the filmmakers and sprinkles in celebrity appearances for the excitement of all. Ed Burns and Federico Castelluccio will be appearing at our closing part as well as many others.

For film blocks that begin 5:00 pm or earlier, Monday - Friday, seniors and students can bring a friend for free!

116 films, 28 countries, 1 location - LIIFE 2011 - Check www.longislandfilm.com for schedule, synopses list and ticket information.

Thank you for your help.
